Meet the brothers! I was so incredibly thankful that my big bros were able to join me for graduation. Between summer school, a trip to Costa Rica, and living in Florida, I didn't think they were going to make it. Clearly, someone forgot to bring a coat and tie... but having them at graduation meant the world.
Don't let this picture fool you, this cake was HEAVY. I honestly don't know how I didn't drop it. Thankfully, my brother was able to snap this quick shot during the 3 (maybe 4) seconds that I was actually able to hold the cake. I'm wearing an older Vineyard Vines white eyelet dress, but I've linked similar ones here and here. Although you can't see them, I wore these Kendra Scott earrings and Tory Burch wedges.
After receiving my tassel and cords during the Friday night ceremony, I was able to give a big 'ol hug to one of my all time favorite people- my principal. He's more than just an administrator at the school, he is a role model and someone that has always been there for me. I'll surely miss him!
#obsessed. With my cake and (eep) graduation present! Post-graduation tears were stopped with this fabulous cake from my favorite local bakery (where I also interned for 2 years). It incorporated my high school and college colors...go Pirates! One of my graduation presents was this David Yurman Cable Pearl Ring. It's so dainty and I haven't taken it off for a second!
And to continue on this (sappy) saga, I'll leave you with one of my favorite quotes from One Tree Hill: "Now is the time for us to shine. The time when our dreams are within reach and possibilities are vast. Now is the time for all of us to become the people we've always dreamed of being. This is your life. You're here! You matter! And the world is waiting."
